We begin by inspecting the piece carefully, noting the size, origin, age, weave, provenance, and overall condition of the piece.
Assessment
Beyond visual inspection, the pedigree and provenance of a piece can be difficult to determine. We have access to world-class experts in antique oriential rugs, and we can provide you with our best assessment of the nature of the piece, beyond it's overall age and condition.
Documentation
We will prepare a formal written document that details our findings. This is generally sufficient for documentation purposes in legal, estate, and insurance matters, should it be required.
